Eglwys St Eleth Church
This parish church, dedicated to the 6thC St Eleth, was erected at the beginning of the 19thC when Amlwch was a boom town. The money for its erection came from the local copper magnates, including the maverick Twm "Chwara Teg" ("Fair Play" Tom) - Thomas Williams, the Copper King, who hailed from the same family as the artist Sir Kyffin Williams. The interior of the church was redesigned in 1999 by the Welsh architect Adam Voelcker.
