Benchmark on Penrhyn estate wall at Porth Penrhyn, Bangor
This mark does not appear to match any marks recorded in the modern Ordnance Survey database? It is marked on an old map of the area at a height of 33.8ft above the Liverpool datum.

Railway arches beneath the Port Lodge driveway
These arches were used by the Penrhyn Quarry 2'G railway (which operated until 1962) and an L&NWR branch line (1852-1963). The former track is now a cycle path.

Road leading to Port Lodge, Penrhyn Castle
The lodge is Grade II listed and was built as part of the estate wall. The road crosses Penrhyn Bridge, also listed.

So new that it's not even open yet!
In https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7391707 I asked if the bridge ever got cleaned. A couple of years later it has not been cleaned, it has been replaced entirely! It opens in early May 2024 and only the handrails are wood, the rest is steel or composite long-lasting material. It is much wider than the old bridge (4 metres) to accommodate multi-use and people who stop to admire the view!

Port Lodge
Like the main gateway into Penrhyn Castle park, this building is in a neo Norman style and dates from the 1820's. It is nowhere near as grand as the main entrance, which reflects its subsidiary role. Now grade 2 listed.
