Turf War Graffiti at Glanmoelyn, Llanrug
The words 'Cofis Dre'(Town Lads') have been painted by a raiding party from Caernarfon on a container on the outskirts of the village of Llanrug. Fighting between 'Cofis Dre' and 'Cofis Wlad' (the country lads of the former slate villages of the town's hinterland) is a time honoured tradition. What is new is the appearance of graffiti

Yr Hen Efail, Llanrug on a snowy day
Yr Hen Efail (the old smithy) was functioning until the early 1960s. Since then the house which has a couple of fields attached to it has been modernised and extended while retaining much of its old character.
