The words 'Cofis Dre'(Town Lads') have been painted by a raiding party from Caernarfon on a container on the outskirts of the village of Llanrug. Fighting between 'Cofis Dre' and 'Cofis Wlad' (the country lads of the former slate villages of the town's hinterland) is a time honoured tradition. What is new is the appearance of graffiti
