The Empire Hotel, Llandudno
The building was erected in 1854 as Llandudno’s first modern department store. It had a chemist, a grocer and an Italian warehouse. The building was reconstructed in 1904 as an hotel and had the first indoor swimming pool in North Wales. The lamp standard, late Cl9, is a Grade II listed building.Source: Cadw Source ID: 3399

John Williams 1811 - 1876, Llandudno
A plaque for John Williams next to the entrance of the Capri guest house (the original town hall). He had a great influence on the history of the town in his role as the agent of the local landowners, the Mostyn family. He is believed to have been the author of the anonymously published book "Tourist Guide to Llandudno".
