The building was erected in 1854 as Llandudno’s first modern department store. It had a chemist, a grocer and an Italian warehouse. The building was reconstructed in 1904 as an hotel and had the first indoor swimming pool in North Wales. The lamp standard, late Cl9, is a Grade II listed building.Source: Cadw Source ID: 3399
