St John's Gardens
The gardens at the Church of St John's in Old Colwyn. In 2003 the local Residents' Association, together with the Parochial Church Council, applied for funds to reinstate the railings which had surrounded the church and afterwards the gardens were planted with special regard to environmental and habitat considerations. Butterfly-attracting plants were installed, along with bird and bat boxes.

Church of St Catherine & St John the Baptist, Old Colwyn
Work on this grade II listed building commenced in 1899 when it was built as a daughter church to St Catherine's in order to provide a facility for the village's English-speaking community at a time when services at St Catherine's were held in Welsh. It was dedicated to St John the Baptist, and the name 'St John's' is discernible above the gate; the modern name was adopted in 2013 when St Catherine's was closed.
