The promenade is closed
Conwy County Borough Council report :-
''Work is now underway on site, with work progressing well on the sheet piling operation west of the Pier. This will form the outline of the new promenade area and headland spaces. In the area on West Promenade work has begun on removing the existing promenade surfacing, in preparation for the new surfacing and landscaping features to be installed over the coming months.''

Colwyn Bay seafront
The beach is currently 'off limits' to the public pending extensive sea defence works including re-introducing sand! To this end bulldozers are pushing sand from humps and lumps towards the sea. Wonder how long before the sea gets its own back?
The cycle path is the greyish green area and is full of lumps and bumps.
