Conwy County Borough Council report :- ''Work is now underway on site, with work progressing well on the sheet piling operation west of the Pier. This will form the outline of the new promenade area and headland spaces. In the area on West Promenade work has begun on removing the existing promenade surfacing, in preparation for the new surfacing and landscaping features to be installed over the coming months.''
