Neuadd Buddug
Built in 1890 as Victoria Hall with a datestone commemorating the visit of Queen Victoria in 1889. Entrance is more recent. It was a cinema from the 1930s with seating for 350 and was closed in 2015 for a refit re-opening in July. Base for H Company 7th Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers in 1914.

Mari Jones
Plaques on Barclays Bank in Bala commemorating Mari Jones. This building was formerly the house of Thomas Charles, one of the founders of the British and Foreign Bible Society - its aim was to supply bibles. Mari Jones, aged 15, walked 25 miles from Llanycil to Bala, bare footed, in order to get one of his bibles.

Aykroyd & Sons, Clothing Factory (Former Workhouse) (3)
Grade II* Listed complex of buildings. Built in 1838 as the Bala Union Workhouse but unpopular with local residents due to proximity to the town. It became the local militia barracks in 1869 and later a clothing factory. Currently it is being converted to residential use.
