Reed beds
Extensive reed-beds fringe the lake in the park, with the A55 dual-carriageway in the distance. The water and reeds are among the last remnants of the salt-marsh and dune-slacks which pre-dated the modern urbanised coastline.

Landscape gardening
A Hitachi Zaxis 130B hydraulic excavator spreading topsoil from the bank in the background to form verges to the new access road on the North Wales Business Park. The road has not yet been surveyed by OS, so you won't find it on the map.
