Telford's Toll Road ( A5 ) goes east through Llidiart y Parc
The present road still follows Telford's 19th Century route. There has been some straightening but the works are only minor in this area.

Built in 1903, the year of the Revival. It has now been converted into a house.

Carrog Station, Llangollen Railway
At the time the picture was taken this was the terminus for services from Llangollen. The railway plans to reopen the former line to Barmouth Junction as far as Corwen.

GWR Autocoach number 163
An interesting vehicle seen at Carrog Station on the Llangollen Railway where it was making a guest appearance. It is owned by the G.W.R 163 Auto Trailer Coach Trust based at Oswestry. No.163. Built 1928. Restored to full working order with the assistance of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant by the Appleby Training & Heritage Centre.

7822 Foxcote Manor (2)
Taken on a damp and dismal day at Carrog station. This 4-6-0 Manor class locomotive was built in Swindon in 1950 but was withdrawn from BR service in 1965. It was subsequently restored and now works on the Llangollen Railway.Image
