New track for the Llangollen Railway
The Llangollen Steam Railway is extending beyond its western terminus at Carrog, and continuing on to Corwen a further 2 1/2 miles. New track bed and sleepers have already been laid for part of the extension.

Disused buildings, Carreg-Afon
All quiet in the farmyard, which is sad to see, though the fields are still occupied and well-tended. The bridleway runs through here on its way from the main road to the edge of Carrog Plantation.
