Stench Pipes of Denbigh: No. 5
Corner of Abraham's Lane near its junction with Chapel Street. A nice example with the usual ornate fluted base, and a tapered fluted pipe section also, although this is somewhat short of the normal full height which appears intentional. As it is situated on a rise, perhaps a full height version was considered unnecessary? The top is "crowned" with an ornate "birdcage". In excellent condition and again manufactured by 'Beck & Co. / Limited / London S. E.' Image

Clwydian House, Denbigh
Probably dating from the mid 17th century, Clwydian House may be one of the earliest brick town houses in north Wales, although later alterations including sash windows, dormers and the semi-circular hood canopy over the entrance are indications of a Georgian makeover. It has recently been renovated with Townscape Heritage Initiative funding.
