An old telegraph pole, Measham Road, Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Installed by the GPO in 1908, still featuring the horizontal slots for the ten cross-arms. Most recently tested in April 2020, classified as 'Decayed', meaning that it is deemed unsafe to be climbed by maintenance workers. However, it is still in active use for telecommunications distribution.

Measham Road, Ashby-de-la-Zouch
The road to Measham, via the A42 junction 12. This road primarily contains relatively large and expensive residences, with large brick walls and electric gates. The iron post on the right, bearing a 50 speed sign, is a ventilation pipe (stinkpipe) for the sewage system. Another pipe, largely truncated and sealed, is visible outside 45, Avenue Road.

Avenue of lime trees, Measham Road, Ashby-de-la-Zouch
A historic avenue of trees, starting at Willesley Park and terminating at Western Park. It has been partially broken by several small housing developments.
