Leicester city boundary, Rushey Mead
Immediately north of the bus turning circle, Nicklaus Road crosses the city boundary into Thurmaston (in the Borough of Charnwood). Perhaps surprisingly, this is denoted by a sign despite the road not being a particularly important or busy one.

Off Nicklaus Road immediately south of the Leicester city boundary. It is currently the northern terminus of First Leicester route 22 from Evington via the city centre.
