Clock Tower, Haymarket and former Eastgates Coffee House, High Street, Leiceste
Impressively lofty and ornate. Gothic with statues under canopies, granite columns, finials and crockets. By Joseph Goddard, 1868. Grade II listed.
The black-and-white behind dates only from 1885, the work of Edward Burgess. Its oriels, gables and cupola make for a picturesque effect. Grade II listed.

Photo was taken one evening when Leicester had its Christmas lights up and on?
Hence the contrasting light levels, colours- green tinge to some of the carvings.
