Humberstone Gate, Leicester
Taken in May 1969, this photo shows Humberstone Gate with two buses operated by Leicester City Transport. The one in front is a Leyland Atlantean with Metro-Cammell 77-seater bodywork dating from early 1963, working on route 32 to East Park Road via Humberstone Road. To the right of the photo are the former LCT offices. Bus services in Leicester are now operated by Arriva Midlands, Centrebus and First Leicester. This part of Humberstone Gate is now a pedestrian zone.

Sporting Success sculpture
The Sporting Success sculpture was unveiled on 16 November 1998. It celebrates Leicestershire County Cricket Club winning the Britannic Assurance County Championship, Leicester City winning the Coca Cola Cup, and Leicester Tigers winning the Pilkington Cup.
