Loughborough, Leics (Woodgate)
A view of a stretch of Woodgate looking towards its junction with High Street. The taller building is the 19th century "Old Police Court" (former Magistrates' Court) and is relatively well preserved internally too. The single storey building - the former police station - also houses a restaurant/cafe. The taller building, now known as Woodgate Chambers, is owned by Charnwood Borough Council and is used for meetings and "may yet", apparently, "be converted into a tourist attraction".

Loughborough, Leics (Woodgate)
Although Woodgate has some very modern buildings the 19th century "Old Police Court" (former Magistrates' Court) is still standing and is also relatively well preserved internally too. The single storey building (perhaps the former police station) is currently a restaurant/cafe shop whilst the taller building, now known as Woodgate Chambers, was the former court building. It is now owned by Charnwood Borough Council and is used for meetings and "may be converted into a tourist attraction".

Loughborough, Leics (High St Area)
A stretch of office accommodation on Woodgate as this road reaches its junction with High Street. Although these premises have been decorated in the same colour scheme it appears as though the property furthest away, with the protruding upper windows, might be older than the nearest section. The re-tiled roofs seem to create a mismatched 'older-versus-newer' appearance to them.

The Organ Grinder, Loughborough
The Blue Monkey brewery of Nottinghamshire acquired this town centre pub in 2012, changing the name from the Old Pack Horse. Blue Monkey produces excellent beers and their influence on the pub trade is almost wholly positive but the name change, given that the street running along the side of the pub is called Pack Horse Lane, seems regrettable.
