River Kent put-on in Kendal
The usual put-on for the lower Kent is from Natland road onto river left just below the A6 bridge in Kendal. At this point is a very small weir which forms a barely playable warm-up wave. If this section of the river looks too low, it is possible to put on above Scroggs weir after which point the river runs OK with less water than needed for this top section.
