Bas relief sculpture, Heysham
This is near to the car park in the centre of the village. It is called 'Spirit of Heysham', but she does not look very happy, and what is she going to do with that cannon ball?. Underneath is a nice seat; there is another similar one nearby.

The Old Hall, Heysham
The Old Hall was built in 1598 and is the oldest dwelling in the borough of Morecambe & Heysham. It was once part of the Hornby Castle estate and has a priest bolt hole and hidden passages in the walls and under the floor. Converted into pub/restaurant in the 1950s.
Grade II* listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1207212 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1207212 ).

Window and datestone detail, Old Hall Inn, Heysham
"In the apex of the east gable is a stone panel on which are carved what were probably the initials of the owner, now almost obliterated, but which look like P.E., R.E., together with a Tudor rose and the date 1598 set within a geometrical pattern."
