The Old Hall was built in 1598 and is the oldest dwelling in the borough of Morecambe & Heysham. It was once part of the Hornby Castle estate and has a priest bolt hole and hidden passages in the walls and under the floor. Converted into pub/restaurant in the 1950s. Grade II* listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1207212 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1207212 ).
