Carved stone post by the A590, in parish of DALTON TOWN WITH NEWTON (BARROW IN FURNESS District), Lindal in Furness, on grass verge, on South side of road. Lancashires CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century.

Lindal-in-Furness railway station
Opened in 1851 by the Furness Railway on the line which now joins Lancaster with Barrow-in-Furness, this station closed in 1951. All trace seems to have been removed.
View south west towards Dalton and Barrow.
