Abandoned pump, Liverpool Docks
Possibly the only former petrol station in the UK to not be turned into a hand car wash, its location, near the end of Regent Rd probably rules out most viable business uses so it will be left to rot like many other business premises in the area.

Steam locomotive shunting in Liverpool Docks, 1965 ? 4
Mersey Docks and Harbour Board No.21 outside the warehouse on the north side of Canada Branch Dock No.2. This was towards the end of steam operation by the MDHB. The MDHB issued permits to allow photography inside the docks compound. The locomotive was built by Avonside of Bristol in 1913, works no.1671. It was later sold to the Middleton Railway but was scrapped in c.1970.

The Langton Dock, Bootle was used by the Belfast Car Ferries service to Belfast Image Now replaced by new berths for the Belfast and Dublin ferries Image The view is from the “Saint Patrick II” relieving during the annual refit of the “Saint Colum 1”.
