Mersey Docks and Harbour Board No.21 outside the warehouse on the north side of Canada Branch Dock No.2. This was towards the end of steam operation by the MDHB. The MDHB issued permits to allow photography inside the docks compound. The locomotive was built by Avonside of Bristol in 1913, works no.1671. It was later sold to the Middleton Railway but was scrapped in c.1970.
