Bootle Town Hall, Oriel Road.
Bootle became a popular health centre in the late 18th century and by the 19th, many fine houses had been built, especially near the shore. Bootle-cum-Linacre was incorporated as a borough in 1868 and the Town Hall was originally opened in 1882.

Oriel Road Memorial
A memorial erected outside Bootle Oriel Road Station in memory of a child electrocuted on the track. The memorial, a wall with bronze statue of a boy holding a ball, was set up by Merseyrail dedicated to those who have lost their lives on the railway in hope that it will warn others about the danger.
