A memorial erected outside Bootle Oriel Road Station in memory of a child electrocuted on the track. The memorial, a wall with bronze statue of a boy holding a ball, was set up by Merseyrail dedicated to those who have lost their lives on the railway in hope that it will warn others about the danger.
