Braced masonry wall
The site of Burntisland's old primary school in Ferguson Place has been redeveloped into modern homes and flats. The exteriors of the original school buildings have largely been retained and the redevelopment has been done in a sensitive manner but some old walls have been braced to comply with building regulations.

Footpath across The Binn
The footpath runs at this point along the side of a field, the land to the seaward side falls sharply downwards (the result of ancient volcanic activity, I understand) and the summit of The Bill can be seen ahead. It is a lovely walk in summer but the path is narrow and gets quite slippery in places when it is wet.
