The footpath runs at this point along the side of a field, the land to the seaward side falls sharply downwards (the result of ancient volcanic activity, I understand) and the summit of The Bill can be seen ahead. It is a lovely walk in summer but the path is narrow and gets quite slippery in places when it is wet.
