Johnstone Lodge, Anstruther Easter
This Category B listed building [http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB36075] was the home of George Darsie (1841-1919) and his wife Tetuanuireiaiteruiate, the Princess Titaua Marama (1842-98) of Haapiti, Tahiti [http://scotfishmuseum.org/perch/resources/princess-titaua-marama.pdf]. A blue plaque beside the gate commemorates this.

1 Haddfoot Wynd, Anstruther Easter
Dating from the late 18th century, and substantially renovated in 1960, 1 Haddfoot Wynd was Category C listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200380892-1-haddfoot-wynd-anstruther-easter-kilrenny#.YoPkX-jMLIU in 1972, and the name of the former resident Miss Graham is preserved in the listing details.

11 East Green, Anstruther Easter
Seen here is one doorway and much of the street frontage of nos 11 and 13 East Green, although no 13 actually lies behind here and is the building seen side-on at the rear; it's only partially visible from the road. Together they date from the mid 18th century, and were collectively Category C listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200380896-11-east-green-anstruther-easter-kilrenny#.YoPmJ-jMLIV in 1972.

'Lahloo' at 15 East Green, Anstruther Easter
No 15 is a 19th century rebuild of an older house, and was the birthplace in 1823 of a tea clipper Captain John Smith. His ships were Lahloo and Min, and he died with all hands in 1874 when one of the ships went down off the Hebrides. The house was Category C listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200380898-15-east-green-anstruther-easter-east-neuk-and-landward-ward#.W_mvI9SLTGg in 1972.

19 East Green, Anstruther Easter
Nos 19a, 19b & 19c East Green are a former prison building, dating from the late 1820s. They were collectively Category B listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200380899-19a-b-and-c-east-green-anstruther-easter-east-neuk-and-landward-ward#.W_f889SLTGg in 1972, and still have two cells in place, complete with all fittings. One of those would make an interesting picture if anyone can get it.
