Ash Island Bins
The trees on the far bank are on Ash Island, which like many of the Thames islands has people living on and around it.
Everything has to come in and out by boat.
Here, the island's wheely bins are going back on the tender having been taken over earlier for emptying.

Looking across to Ash Island
This is the view from the Barge Walk, which is the Thames towpath upriver of Hampton Court Bridge. Ash Island is largely wooded but is surrounded for much of the way round by moored boats, except at the north where there is a weir.
