Former post office, Worcester Park
Small suburban post office from 1939 in the neo-Georgian style favoured by the GPO in inter-war years, and resembling a residence. The neo-Georgian style worked best in the small offices as the conventions of symmetry and scale are maintained and remain pleasing to the eye, unlike some of the larger urban post offices like Maidstone, Bexhill-on-Sea and Worthing.
