Co-op Store, Malden Manor
By the entrance to Malden Manor station forecourt, this doesn't look like it was designed as a food store.
Now looking rather shabby, the enormous doorways are a bit grandiose even for a station pub, which I'm guessing it was originally. Above the doors are the borough arms of Kingston upon Thames.

Malden Manor Station
Like most of the surrounding area, Malden Manor Station is a product of the 1930s.
Built in a distinctive Art Deco style, it opened on May 29th 1938.

For an original build branch line station, rather modern, opened in 1938 by the Southern Railway using what they called their 'Marine' style of architecture, using a great deal of concrete in novel ways.
