Nuffield Health offices, New Malden
The headquarters of a health provider (describing itself as "the largest network of charitable, independent hospitals in the UK") on the west side of Coombe Road, near the junction with Chestnut Grove.

40-50 Coombe Road
Funny-looking office block in grey-white brick with projecting sections, giving it a castellated appearance, and fussy window details.

Groves Dental Centre, New Malden
The dental practice is situated on the corner of Coombe Road and Lime Grove. The mock-Tudor building is a common early 20th century architectural style in this part of South London. In the foreground is a zebra crossing and next to the dental centre is Travis Perkins (builders merchants).

Telephone exchange, Coombe Road
Dated 1937 on the front. Brick and no doubt in the GPO's then-house style, broadly Modernist with Art Deco details such as the stepped decoration around the door.

Shell filling station, New Malden
The filling station is on the east side of Coombe Road. Although the prices are hidden behind a road sign in this view, unleaded petrol was 119.9 pence per litre at this time.
