Copthorne Road
Looking across By Pass Road from the 1930s built southern section of Copthorne Road to the original section, built as a cul-de-sac off Barnett Wood Lane in the early 1900s before later being extended southwards. The northern section has since reverted to being a cul-de-sac, with crash barriers blocking it from By Pass Road, with maps suggesting that this was in the 1960s or 1970s.

Copthorne Road
Two pairs of semi-detached cottages in the northern section of Copthorne Road, dating from when the road was first developed as a cul-de-sac off Barnett Wood Lane. Both have date plaques which also show what are presumably the initials of the builder, along with (in the case of the left hand pair) the name of the cottages. The plaque on the left hand pair is inscribed "EL Chick's Grove Cottages 1904" and that on the right "WO 1905".
