The Bridlepath
A short, private residential road off Banstead Road in Ewell. As the name suggests, the road is also public bridleway Epsom & Ewell 13 (and cyclepath), and connects with Cheam Road at Howell Grove, but a barrier prevents through use by vehicular traffic.

Ewell East station from the footbridge
The Croydon & Epsom Railway was opened in 1847 and Ewell East station opened on the same day. The Croydon & Epsom was soon taken over by the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway. This view looks from the footbridge towards Cheam and Sutton. A train for Horsham is approaching the down platform.
