London Bus RT 604 commemorates Ewell West Station 150 years
Preserved former London Transport / London Country RT 604 (which was the last RT to operate with London Country, on route 403 out of Chelsham Garage) is specially blinded to commemorate 150 years of the railway serving Ewell West Station.

Ewell West railway station, Surrey, 2014
Opened in 1859 as "Ewell" by the London & South Western Railway on the line from Wimbledon to Epsom, "West" was added to the name in 1923.
View north towards Stoneleigh and Wimbledon, some 5 years before the footbridge at the south end of the station was replaced by one with lifts at the north end. See Image for a 2020 image from a similar viewpoint.
