A view of the A2043 at the junction with Gloucester Road. The parade of shops houses the needs of modern living - a convenience store and two fast food outlets. The flats behind are built on the site of the Royal Cambridge Asylum which provided homes for soldiers widows. The home moved to East Molesey circa 1935.
