Shops on Hawks Road
There are only three shops in this small row on the corner of Portman Rd. A post office convenience store, a Chinese takeaway restaurant and a travel agent. On the other side of Portman Rd is a business specialising in shop display systems.

Black smoke and flames pour out of a residential tower block on the Cambridge Road Estate as a fierce blaze spreads through the top floors of the building one July afternoon while residents and commuters returning home stare in horror.
