Hogsmill River in Kingston upon Thames
Photographed looking full and turbulent on a day after a night of heavy rain this is the Hogsmill River looking downstream, about 600 metres upstream of its confluence with the River Thames.

Terrapin in the Hogsmill at Kingston upon Thames
Said to be a major threat to native wildlife, terrapins are quite common I gather. It's thought they were bought for fans of the Mutant Ninja Turtles then released into the wild when the novelty wore off.
