The Cricketers (2), Downside Common, near Cobham
A well-hidden but popular pub adjacent to the common, from where this photograph was taken. The pub's website says that the building dates back to the mid-16th century. It has recently changed ownership. Food and a function room are available.

The Cricketers (1) - sign, Downside Common, near Cobham
The Cricketers pub is tucked away at the end of a short lane, so it is no surprise that this sign is at the start of the lane, otherwise few people would know the pub was here. Presumably cricket was once played nearby, possibly on the common.
