Garden at Mainholm Court Ayr
View of garden at entrance road to Mainholm Court which is off Mainholm Road The road leads to a development of 20 family houses. There is a squirrel on what looks like a shell in front of the bench, the significance of this escapes me. 13th August 2009

New houses on Mainholm Road
New houses are being built for South Ayrshire Council on the former educational site that held both Mainholm Academy and Queen Margaret Academy.
A new Queen Margaret Academy was built on the edge of Ayr in 1976 Image with a replacement on the same site in 2019 Image
Mainholm Academy was not replaced after its closure in 2007 Image Pupils were reallocated to other schools in the town.
