A Cast Iron Gravestone At Catrine
This cast iron gravestone, dated 1842, is fixed to the rear wall of the old graveyard at Catrine Parish Church. Use of iron wasn't very common during the 19th century. The first part of the inscription reads: ERECTED BY THE SURVIVING FAMILY in memory of DREW COWAN, WRIGHT CATRINE and ANN BORLAND his spouse

Former Congregational Church, Catrine
Built in 1845 as the Free Church, it later became the Congregational Church in 1960. Since closing for worship in 2002 it has now become a private dwelling.
