Former Queens Hotel, Largs, North Ayrshire
Originally a private residence, the Queens Hotel had been in operation in Largs since at least the 1940s. In July 2018 it closed its doors for refurbishment and has remained closed ever since.

The Queens Hotel was a private residence called South Kirklands, which was built sometime prior to 1855. It was originally semi-detached, with one house having an entrance facing Greenock Road and the other facing Brisbane Street. The building became a hotel in the 1940s. The Queens Hotel has been granted planning permission to demolish the existing building and be replaced by fourteen, two bedroom luxury apartments.
