Holm Jct, Ardrossan
Holm Jct is the junction for the lines from Ardrossan Harbour (left) and Largs (right). Ardrossan shed (which had an unusually large number of locos) was at top left. It closed in early 1965. A class 27 is approaching from Fairlie with nuclear flasks for Sellafield. See also Image

This building on Ardrossan’s South Crescent Road was once the Ingledene Hotel. It closed around Winter 2002/2003 and is now a private residence.
