Shore of Loch Ainort at Luib
Luib is a small village on the south side of Loch Ainort. Across the loch to the west are peaks of the Red Cuillin Hills, Beinn Dearg Mhor central and Glamaig to the right.

An aerial view. The main road in the foreground is the A87, with Broadford to the left and Sligachan to the right. The cottages follow the line of the former main road which was bypassed when the two-way road with wider bridges was built. The track winding off to the upper left is an even older road to Strollamus.
