House of Beauly closed
For a number of years this was a visitor centre, including a craft, gifts and food shop, as well as a restaurant. Originally named "Made in Scotland", it became "House of Beauly" in about 2006. House of Beauly went into liquidation and closed down last year, so the building was advertised for sale.

The Royal Scotsman, passing Beauly station
The Royal Scotsman is a luxury train which regularly tours around Scotland. It was returning from Kyle of Lochalsh, and heading to Boat of Garten. It passed through Beauly non-stop.
It is hauled by a pair of West Coast Railways Class 37 locomotives - 37685 'Loch Arkaig' and 37516 'Loch Laidon'.
