The Royal Scotsman is a luxury train which regularly tours around Scotland. It was returning from Kyle of Lochalsh, and heading to Boat of Garten. It passed through Beauly non-stop. It is hauled by a pair of West Coast Railways Class 37 locomotives - 37685 'Loch Arkaig' and 37516 'Loch Laidon'.
