A fisher cottage of Seatown
A unique assembly of cottages is found here. If you follow the lane you can see the jaws of the Seatown footbridge. In the early days, outsiders would not cross this unless they had legitimate business in Seatown.

A view from the Seatown footbridge
Once the site of the fishing community, the Seatown had its own rules. Woe betide anyone in the early days who ventured across the bridge and into these parts!

Cottages at Seatown Lossiemouth
In the old days the river Lossie used to flood into Seatown, with rising sea levels it is believed that this will happen again.

Seatown Lossiemouth
Although the Seatown area of Lossiemouth was established in 1698 and remodelled in 1780, rather surprisingly none of the traditional style fishermen's cottages appear to have listed status. However, the old red K6 telephone box is category B listed. https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200382751-seatown-k6-telephone-kiosk-lossiemouth

Muffin the Puffin on the road to recovery
This comical little seabird was rescued off the East Beach at Lossiemouth and nursed back to good health by local wildlife Samaritan Jenny Stewart. Christened Muffin, he will be released to the wild in a day or two after his brief but memorable stay in the Seatown. Good luck, Parrot Face!!
