Elsick House, Strathpeffer
Built by Dr Thomas Morrison of Elsick, Aberdeenshire, who settled in Strathpeffer when he discovered that the spring waters alleviated his arthritis. Rebuilt with additions in 1900 by architect Alexander Ross.
The house was later bought by the Scottish Youth Hostel Association and run as a youth hostel until 2002. In 2004, the house was converted into four private residential flats.

Elsick House, Strathpeffer
A substantial Victorian villa. It was an SYHA youth hostel until 2002. It has now been developed into flats.
With a tall giant sequoia tree beside the house.
